The Nightingale, a country pub in Worcester
We’ve got everything you need from a country pub near you.
From the early 20th century, the Nightingale was known as the Berkeley Knot, and before that, the Crown Inn. The inn drew much of its trade from visitors cycling through White Ladies Aston who stopped for refreshment en route.
Our menus are full of hearty favourites and country pub classics, as well as our seasonal dishes, and we’ll be ready with a well-stocked bar, including cask ales, fine wines and British gin to suit very taste - which will taste all the better when enjoyed either in our beautiful gardens or by our crackling log fires.

The distinctive sloping red tile roofs and whitewash walls of The Nightingale Inn make it a landmark near Spetchley Park. This area has seen many battles, the most noteworthy during the Civil War.
Whether you’re out walking your dog or just exploring the local area, there’s always plenty to do around The Nightingale.
