The Swan Holme, a country pub in Lincoln
We’ve got everything you need from a country pub near you.
The Swan Holme is situated very near the city of Lincoln, which has its roots in Roman times. At one point Lincoln Castle was the northern-most frontier of the Roman Empire, guarding a city with fine public buildings and paved streets. The perfect example of this heritage is Newport Arch, one of the gates into the city, which survives today as an illustration of what the Romans brought to Britain.
Our menus are full of hearty favourites and country pub classics, as well as our seasonal dishes, and we’ll be ready with a well-stocked bar, including cask ales, fine wines and British gin to suit very taste - which will taste all the better when enjoyed either in our beautiful gardens or by our crackling log fires.
Charming country pubs in lovely locations
A must for walkers and wildlife lovers, our old cottage-style inn has beautiful views across Swanholme Lakes, a nature reserve bordering Hartsholme Country Park. The area comprises Victorian landscaped gardens, a large reservoir, woodlands and grasslands.
Whether you’re out walking your dog or just exploring the local area, there’s always plenty to do around The Swan Holme.
