We’ve been pouring pints since 1827, although we only became known as The Firecrest in 1998. Before then, our beautiful British pub was known as The Half Way House, a picturesque pub near Aylesbury with equally pretty gardens.
These days, we’re all about making new memories in our private hire space, ready to host your next event, whether that’s a business meeting, birthday party, baby shower or wedding celebration.

Maximum capacity: 35 seated, 60 standing (both sections)
Capturing all the charm of our historic pub setting without sacrificing modern amenities, you’ll find that our uniquely split private hire space is as versatile as it is welcoming.
To the left, discover a meeting room for 12 with a curtain for privacy and a TV and flipchart for client-pleasing presentations. To the right, seat 22 lucky guests to a semi-private buffet area. Or, for life’s grandest celebrations, combine both sections, with a backdrop of exposed wooden beams and natural lighting – the choice is yours.
